Hire Conditions (Facilites)

CONDITIONS OF HIRE: A charge as determined by the RSA Management Committee from time to time will be levied on all hirers for the use of the Association's facilities within the hall. The hirer is to pay the RSA a bond of $500 prior to the use of the hall, which may be refunded to the hirer either in part or in full at the absolute discretion of the RSA Management Committee after the use of the hall. The RSA retains the right to withhold an amount of money owed for any outstanding repairs or cleaning etc. Any damage sustained to the building or any part of the surrounding property must be repaired by the hirer at his/her own cost to the absolute satisfaction of the RSA. The RSA will not be held responsible for any loss, damage to, or theft of equipment, valuables etc sustained by the hirer or associated persons during their activities and/or left on the RSA premises after the conclusion of such activities. Alcohol and/or other beverages must be consumed from either metal cans or plastic cups. No glass is allowed in accordance with Redland Shire Council guidelines. The selling of alcohol on the premises whether for profit or otherwise is illegal. No posters, balloons or other decorations are to be placed on walls or the ceiling using sticky tape or other adhesives that may damage the paintwork. Functions are to cease at midnight or as soon as practicable thereafter and cleaning of the hall is to be carried out on the night of the function.. The RSA shall have absolute discretion as to whether the hall will be let to any hirer whatsoever.
